Today, I went to Gua Tempurung with FGA PJ youth. This was my second time to be there, the first time was during Joint Camp. At that time, I was only 14, Marissa and I were the youngest participants out of all. The camp was really memorable, with all the participants from different uniform bodies, and the Scouts from Singapore. It was the my first time to do so many activities like abseiling and it was when I got to know Jian Shen XD
Back to the topic, we gathered in front of the church at 8am. Before that, I had Mc D for my breakfast, so unhealthy especially when I added a lot of sugar and creamer into my coffee haha! Xin Ying said bitter was the original and the best taste for chocolate and coffee, but I still prefer them to be sweet :P
After we have reached there, we waited for quite a while before we got to go in because we needed to go in with the other groups. I was "assigned" to walk in pairs with Yu Song and with a little kid, Joseph. He had a headlight which made him looked really cute, like a little kid trying to explore the dark hole. So, we walked through a lot of staircases, saw those 钟乳石, in which some of them had became the shape of a lady, seahorse, dinosaurs etc.
Then, we needed to slide down a slope, go down through a hole and walk through in the water. At the time being, one of my hands was holding Joseph's hand, another one was on his head in order to protect his head from those 钟乳石 haha. I also met two little boys, they are Kenny's friends, it was their first time to be here. I guess one of them was a bit scare when he went through the water way and hit his head slightly.
After we came out, we went for a quick bath. While waiting for others to come out, I had an ice-cream, I'm a typical ice-cream addict :P Then, we went for lunch before we continued our way back.
Hmm......what can I say about this trip? It was totally a great one especially for those who were first time there. Aside from my van which I think it had some problems with its air conditional, everything was alright. I did enjoyed seeing people nodding their heads with sweats (they were sleeping on the van hahaha). Oh yea, I thought it would be even better and safer if we were given the helmet as how I was during Joint Camp. Luckily there were no one who was seriously hurt.
Enjoyed the first trip with FGA PJ ;)
