The Last Night Before We Go Back

we went to Suki-Ya at Paradigm Mall to celebrate Chinese New Year :D We called it the last night because Lian will be going back to Johor Bahru tomorrow, and we will all be going back home on Thursday. This CNY break will be the last break before we set ourselves into exam mode. The last period to relax, to play, to enjoy and to gather with family. More than that, it will be the last CNY that we can celebrate with our family before we fly :(

I was actually sick since yesterday. So, I skipped class today as I was feeling really weak in the morning. I guess this was my first time to skip class due to sickness in these 2 years. Luckily we didn't have so many classes today. When they were back from college, we gathered at drop off point at about 7pm.

Initially, we planned to take a cab to SS2 and eat at the steamboat restaurant that we went last time. Don't ask me why would it be steamboat, we were just being random and wanted to eat steamboat during CNY. Then, John brought us to walk to the taxi station in front of Kelana Medical Centre (Note: It was quite a distance from our hostel). On our way there, both Lian and John kept doubting whether we should go there or just eat at Paradigm Mall. When we had walked so far to the station, John sat down and thought for a while, until the taxi went away, until the next taxi came and went away again.

At the end, we had came to a conclusion to walk back to Paradigm Mall and eat at Suki-Ya, a Japanese steamboat restaurant. Min Wen and I were like OMG, how could these 2 guys be that "grandmother mother" (婆妈) LOL They had been thinking and asking for so long until they had finally decided on where to eat.

The food at Suki-Ya was not bad. They have 4 different flavour of soups, I would recommend shabu shabu and the soy one haha. Although they don't have seafood, but they do have free-flow of meat, drinks and of course other food. The best thing will be their ice-cream in green tea and chocolate flavour :P Imagine we had 4 of us and 3 of them could really eat a lot, but we could just order first round of meat, there were 9 trays for one round haha. Although it was a bit costly, we were allowed to stay there for 2 hours. If we didn't eat much in the morning and afternoon, having dinner there would be totally worth the price.

Great great dinner before CNY :)

I ate a lot of vegetables today!!
Good girl :P
