The Second Day...

Today is the second day for orientation. In the morning, I met Yee Ling and Wei Jian before I entered Audi 2. We had the latest updates of each other and we had a small discuss on my studies. They adviced me to try considering taking other courses like A-Level or CAT as I will have more choices of my future pathway. I think I will get more information first or meet up a counsellor if there is a need.

Then, I went into Audi 2 for a subjects briefing session. At there, I have other new friends like Adrian (from Chong Hwa Independent School), Aaron, Yvonne, etc. Our head of FIA, Miss Ruma gave us an introduction of FIA, following by different lecturers who gave us the concept and briefing for the subjects. They are nice and they have their own ways to make the class interesting.

In the first semester, we are compulsory to take English, Maths and Critical Thinking. I chose Accounting as my elective subject and i took an extra subject which is Management and Marketing. We will have lots of tests, courseworks, assignments and accessments for each and every subjects. And all these will decide our grades at the end of the year as it's 50% coursework, 50% exam in FIA.

We had our library tour after the briefing. It has 2 floors which are at Level 2 & Level 3. At Level 2, we need to be absolutely silent without talking whereas at Level 3, we can have small discussion in a low voice. There's many reference books, dictionaries, magazines, newspapers and all of them are well arranged with the labelling of their codes. The library also provides us the code of different category of books and the floor plan so that we can get what we want easily. We can even borrow CDs home or watch it there. An addition to it, the library is very very very cold lol

After the library tour, we went home. People says that taking four subjects are already a burden if u want to get a good results. But now I'm taking an extra one. It's simply because Marketing and Management will be useful for my future and I can learn more about the business field. Nevermind, I will give it a try as the last day to drop subject is on the 5th of April. I believe that as long as I want, I'm sure that I can cope with it =)

Yes, I believe it!

ps : tommorrow i will be getting my SPM results!! **nervous**
